(Concern) Loss of smell after recovering from the flu
My concern is...
There is a continuous fiber smell in the air.
I thought I became more sensitive to smells after suffering from the flu severely, but even now, five years later, I can still smell a fiber-like odor from my nose.
When I smell this scent, my expression hardens..
My head is pounding like crazy..
I usually have migraines, so I am sensitive.
I can't describe what kind of scent it is, and at first I thought it only came from my house. But now, whether I'm outside, on the street, at the supermarket, or anywhere in daily life, I keep smelling a fabric-like smell, and it's bothering me because I am the only one who notices it. No matter how I talk about it, I don't think the doctors can find the cause.
Are there others who experience symptoms like mine, such as heightened sense of smell, after having the flu? ๐ข
No one else smells anything, but I can really only smell it myself, so it's so frustrating. I even thought about going to a psychiatrist.
