( Therapist note ) About rhinitis, our child's daily routine!
Rhinitis is very exhausting.ㅠㅠ
My middle school son has been battling rhinitis since he was young.
Spring... truly is a troublesome season.
The seasons are changing and cold winds are blowing..
We can tell from our child's runny nose, sneezing, and nosebleeds.
I take allergy medication 365 days a year...
When I feel a little better, I stop taking the medication for a short while, but after a few days, the runny nose inevitably returns...ㅠㅠ
The ENT doctor is a regular patient too, so the doctor already knows our child's name and has been watching them grow, haha.
My morning routine always includes nasal irrigation, nasal spray, and nasal epik.
Medical red light therapy with the CoEpic effect can be expected to improve blood circulation. It is known to activate peroxide-removing enzymes and suppress the production of reactive oxygen species in the body. Additionally, near-infrared light is beneficial for reducing inflammation and promoting healing. It also has antihistamine effects and helps calm sensitive allergic reactions.
Nasal irrigation refers to washing the nasal cavity, the site of cause for rhinitis, with saline solution.
Inflammatory secretions accumulated in the nose are washed away, and harmful substances such as allergens, dust, and viruses are removed.
Directly moisturizing the nasal mucosa to keep the inside of the nose moist.
The motility of cilia on the nasal mucosa improves.
The ENT doctor our child sees always insists that nasal irrigation is absolutely essential, so I do it every morning.
They definitely like the feeling of freshness and easier breathing after nasal irrigation.
There is a saying that "treatment is half, management is half" when it comes to rhinitis.
Consistent management alongside medication treatment is very important.
I hope everyone breathes comfortably and stays healthy^^
