Even during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I managed to survive without getting sick, but now I'm in a state of shock after contracting it. More shocking than the fever, cough, and runny nose was the loss of my sense of smell. I'm sharing information on how to treat this loss of smell.

The inability to smell is also accompanied by a loss of taste.

4. How to Treat Loss of Smell with Olfactory Rehabilitation Therapy

About two or three days after being diagnosed with COVID-19, I started losing my sense of smell. I was shocked when my sense of taste also decreased, so I searched everywhere. Treating Smell Loss with Olfactory Rehabilitation Therapy I learned this and practiced this every day. Pick four or five scents you know well and sniff them for ten seconds twice a day, morning and evening. Even if you can't smell them, keep trying. After you're done sniffing, take a ten-second break and then try a different scent. I consistently treated my loss of smell with this scent training method, constantly imagining and thinking about the scents I knew. I continued to practice with my favorite body lotions, perfumes, and hand creams. I sniffed a variety of scents without overlapping.
