A review of tinnitus treatment through nutritional supplements and lifestyle changes.
A few months ago, I started experiencing tinnitus, which included ringing, popping, and other symptoms like hearing a buzzing sound in my ears. So, to treat it, I purchased and started taking tinnitus-relieving supplements and made lifestyle changes, including increasing my sleep. As a result, my tinnitus gradually decreased, and these days, it's barely noticeable, so I think it's been cured.
Actually, I've had tinnitus occasionally before. But a few months ago, it started happening several times a day, so I started to feel a sense of crisis that something was wrong, and I started researching various ways to treat it.
The first thing I looked into to treat tinnitus was a nutritional supplement. Omega-3s are known to improve blood flow and reduce inflammation in the ear. Tinnitus symptoms tend to worsen when blood flow in the microvasculature of the ear is poor, and omega-3s lower blood viscosity, promoting better circulation. Furthermore, omega-3s help with the metabolism of nerve cells in the ear, stabilizing auditory nerve function, which is said to help with tinnitus treatment. So I started taking omega-3s.
I also took a ginkgo leaf extract supplement. The inner ear is lined with tiny blood vessels, and if blood flow is blocked or circulation is poor, oxygen supply to auditory cells is reduced, which can worsen tinnitus. Ginkgo leaf extract helps reduce oxidative stress on cells, alleviating damage to the auditory nerve. Ginkgo leaf extract is known to be particularly effective in treating tinnitus caused by blood flow disorders. Clinical studies have also shown that ginkgo leaf extract is effective in treating tinnitus.
So I took these two supplements to treat my tinnitus.
Since the cause of tinnitus is probably related to fatigue and stress, I tried to increase the amount of sleep, eliminate stress factors, and exercise a lot to treat tinnitus.
After trying this for several months, I no longer have tinnitus.
