I had nosebleeds so severely and frequently that I had to have nasal electrocautery.

Let me tell you about the electrocautery I received and the condition of my nose in the past.

There was a time in the winter when I would get nosebleeds from my right nostril once every 3-4 days, and on some bad days, I would get 3 bleeds in one day.

At first, I thought it was simply because I was in a dry place with the heater on for a long time in the winter, so I got nosebleeds often, but I got nosebleeds a lot even in the summer when the weather was humid.

​As the weather became unbearably hot, I would walk around outside in the heat and humidity for a long time and then come back to a cool place with air conditioning, and my nose would burst because of the change in environment. Even if I put pressure on my head to wash my face or hair, my nose would burst, and even light stretching would cause my nose to burst. It was a mess.

Once the nosebleed started, the amount of blood that came out was no joke.

When I try to sleep at dawn, my nose bleeds and I try to stop the bleeding for 30 minutes, but when I try to sleep again, my nose bleeds again and stops the bleeding, and it repeats over and over...

I was bleeding so much that I felt dizzy.

 

 

There were many days when I didn't do anything too hard and just went out and got a nosebleed and got blood on my white T-shirt.

When I have a nosebleed, I can't go about my daily life to the point where I deliberately avoid wearing white tops, so I thought I couldn't go on like this, so I started searching.

I searched and found out that there was something called electrocautery, so I looked into a large ENT clinic in my neighborhood and ended up going to Boas.

 

Director Oh Jae-guk said that he should have come early and that he would do the procedure right away.

​He performed a nasal endoscopy, took pictures, displayed the pictures on a monitor, and explained them in great detail. He was so professional and easy to understand that I wondered if he was the director.

As soon as I was examined, I received cauterization treatment that very day.

 

Before getting electrocautery, I got an anesthetic injection, and it really hurt.

I heard that teenagers often get it, but I thought that since this anesthetic injection is painful even for adults, it would be difficult for elementary school students to endure.

After about 3 minutes of burning squid smell, the treatment was over.

The surgery was short and I felt some pain even though I was under anesthesia.

I was startled by the sharp pain I felt every time I was touched by electricity.

It wasn't too painful because of the anesthesia, so I could bear it, but it was a tingling and strange feeling, so I didn't like it.

After the procedure is over, you go back into the examination room.

After the consultation, I received a prescription for medication, including antibiotics, and paid for it before leaving.

I came back two days after the procedure to have my blood vessels checked again.

Actually, I thought it would be more expensive, but I was surprised that it was cheaper than I thought.

I haven't had a nosebleed since I had electrocautery.

It was truly refreshing.. and as I was able to sleep more deeply, my condition naturally improved significantly. I experienced almost no discomfort after the procedure.

I wonder why I didn't do it sooner and why I was so foolishly bleeding from the nose.

 

Before getting electrocautery, I was looking for information, and a related search term I saw was "copi laser," so I thought it was laser cauterization, but it wasn't. I'm not sure if there are places that do that, but I got electrocautery.
