Canker Sores, Finally Freed? My Personal Treatment Experience

Hello! Today, I'd like to share a story I've long desired and many of you will likely relate to: my experience with persistent canker sores and my treatment. I used to suffer from them for a long time, but I recently found my own treatment method and have found much more relief. I hope this post can offer some comfort and help to anyone struggling with canker sores.

Chronic stomatitis, finally free? I'll share my personal treatment experience!

Have you ever experienced a mouth so sore that it was difficult to eat or speak? I suffered from severe canker sores. They were a chronic condition that would inevitably return with the slightest fatigue or stress. Whenever I had canker sores, everyday life became a real struggle. Everything I ate would sting, even brushing my teeth would hurt, and I felt like I couldn't concentrate because of them.

At first, I just assumed it was just fatigue, so I endured it by applying over-the-counter ointments and gargling with mouthwash. While the ointments provided temporary relief, it took quite a while for the canker sore to completely disappear. I even tried folk remedies like gargling with salt water, but they seemed to irritate the wound and didn't seem to have much effect. For me, canker sores were more than just an inconvenience; they were a serious problem that reduced my quality of life.

Then one day, I realized this just wasn't working, so I started looking for a more proactive treatment. After consulting with a doctor, I learned that there are many different types of canker sores, each with different causes. In addition to the more common aphthous stomatitis, there were also herpes stomatitis, and the treatment options varied slightly depending on the type. The doctor told me that in my case, stress and a weakened immune system were likely the main causes. Canker sores are closely linked to stress and nutritional deficiencies.

So, I started a treatment plan that combined medication with lifestyle changes. First, I consistently applied and took the prescribed medication, and above all, I realized that getting enough rest and paying attention to nutrition were crucial for treating canker sores. I started eating foods rich in B vitamins and other immune-boosting foods. I also tried to find stress-reducing methods that suited me. By getting enough sleep, engaging in light exercise, and reducing stress, I noticed a significant decrease in the frequency of canker sores recurring. Previously, I would get canker sores once or twice a month, but now they're almost unheard of!

It was a valuable experience that made me realize that treating canker sores isn't just about applying ointment. Ultimately, a healthy lifestyle is the most fundamental treatment. If you're struggling with canker sores like I was, I hope my experience can be of some help. I strongly recommend that you seek professional help and find the treatment method that's right for you.

구내염이 생긴 직후에 바로 치료 하는 게 좋은 것 같아요. 방치하면 더 심해지더라구요.
