I am preventing stomatitis by maintaining clean oral hygiene and taking nutritional supplements.

Until a few years ago, I frequently experienced symptoms of stomatitis, which was both annoying and painful, making things a bit difficult. So, I looked into ways to prevent stomatitis and started to improve my oral care, also taking supplements. As a result, in recent years, I have hardly had any episodes of stomatitis and have been doing well.

The causes of stomatitis are very diverse. They include oral hygiene, stress, fatigue, hormonal changes, menstrual cycle, weight changes, allergies, toothpaste ingredients, deficiencies in certain nutrients, weakened immunity, and more. Among the various causes of stomatitis, I categorized them into three main areas: oral hygiene, stress and fatigue, and nutrients and immunity. To prevent stomatitis, I focused on improving these three areas. First, oral hygiene is crucial for prevention. I made sure to brush my teeth three times after meals, which is the most basic practice. I also reduced alcohol consumption and quit smoking entirely for health reasons. Additionally, I drank water frequently to prevent dry mouth. Next, I tried to reduce stress and fatigue. Upon reflection, I realized that the biggest reason for my stress was lack of sleep. I believed that getting enough sleep and maintaining good condition would help reduce stress and fatigue, as well as prevent stomatitis. Therefore, I tried to go to bed at 11 p.m. and wake up at 6:30 a.m. every day. I also learned that deficiencies in nutrients like iron and folic acid increase the risk of stomatitis. So, I purchased and took supplements containing iron and folic acid to help prevent it.

Additionally, since decreased immunity is said to cause stomatitis, I purchased and took propolis to prevent stomatitis. Propolis has strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects and is said to enhance the function of immune cells, thereby overall boosting the body's immunity.

By making this effort to prevent stomatitis, I haven't had it for several years. I plan to continue this level of effort to prevent stomatitis in the future as well. After all, it's about improving my health.
