(Question) Is the orthodontic process difficult?

I'm most curious about how long your orthodontic treatment took.

Back then, I couldn't even smile properly with the visible braces, so I didn't look very friendly.

Moreover, I kept salivating every time I ate, and food would get stuck, which was really uncomfortable. Now, I hear they are wearing braces that look like they are not even orthodontic, and they say it's good.

Is it really good for those who have tried it?

I'm wondering if food intake is reduced and if oral hygiene like brushing is being properly maintained. I'm also curious about the costs.
