(Question) I want to know if only the lower teeth can be corrected.

The orthodontic treatment was about fifty-fifty due to my age, but I saw a post mentioning that lower teeth can be corrected, so I wanted to ask. When I look at my teeth, I don't have much concern about the upper teeth, but it's only the lower teeth that are problematic.

I'm worried because my teeth are crooked and stand out. Since my teeth are misaligned, I'm concerned about maintenance, and sometimes foreign substances get stuck uncomfortably. Also, when brushing, it's a bit more cumbersome to clean the corners and areas compared to the upper teeth. So, I want to know if only the lower teeth can be orthodontically corrected.

Of course, I need to examine the teeth to make a proper diagnosis, but I wonder if there are teeth that can still be partially corrected.

I would like to know if there are any disadvantages to partial correction if it exists.
