(Concern) Do you recommend orthodontic treatment for your children if you have undergone it yourself?

I still need to observe for a few more years, but I heard that my child might also need orthodontic treatment.

I had severe malocclusion, but I was told I absolutely had to undergo jaw surgery, so I gave up and lived with it.

I just did it at the dentist's office where they only match the appearance.

I didn't properly maintain the device, so it only worked gradually, but I'm still satisfied with the shape itself.

I didn't realize that the roots had become quite short and that I would need to wear a device attached to the back for the rest of my life.

I'm concerned because my child's jaw is narrow, and orthodontic treatment is likely recommended.

ㅠㅠ Even the two permanent teeth that have already come out didn't have enough space, so they came out crooked ㅠㅠㅠ

These days, they say they correct early to shorten the duration.

I'm really struggling whether it's better to do it as quickly as possible... or to avoid doing it as much as possible.
