턱관절이 자라면서 다시 리셋되는듯.. 턱 관절 다 자라고 해야 한다고 합니다.
It seems like the middle schooler is reverting back after orthodontic treatment ㅠ
I had orthodontic treatment in elementary school. It was around second or third grade.
I went to the dentist because my lower jaw was protruding like an underbite, similar to a prognathism, and it turned out I had malocclusion.
I underwent orthodontic treatment due to malocclusion where the lower teeth cover the upper teeth.
It feels like I've been doing it for almost a year.
However, since I forcibly put in the lower teeth, the molars don't align properly. As a result, the child moves their jaw to align the molars, causing the lower jaw to protrude repeatedly. ㅠㅠ It's unavoidable for chewing, but because they push their jaw forward to align the molars for comfort, the lower jaw has become much more prominent even after several years of orthodontic treatment.
When I go to the dentist, they say it's not enough to warrant orthodontic treatment again.
How can I help my child change the habit of pushing out their chin at home?
Additionally, I keep developing the habit of constantly straightening my knees and resting my chin, and I'm worried because I keep pushing my misaligned teeth forward.
What should I do?
I'm so tired of orthodontics that I don't want to do it again, but I'm wondering how to endure it well at home.
