(Concern) Which is the best option between orthodontic treatment and implants for front teeth?

While playing with a friend during school days, I bumped into them and my front tooth was misaligned.

Once the front teeth are misaligned, they gradually become more crooked and become very noticeable.

My misaligned front teeth are my complex, so I always hide my mouth and smile.

It's hard to eat an apple with my front teeth. (It always feels like the gap between my teeth is getting bigger because something gets stuck in itㅠㅠ)

 

So I inquired with the dental clinic I have been visiting for a long time.

I inquired about orthodontics, but that dental clinic does not offer orthodontic treatment.

They recommended an implant.

(Because orthodontic treatment requires extracting other teeth and takes a lot of time)

At that time, I was too scared to get implants in my twenties, myself.

I still have a long way to go before I need to use this, but I already feel it's a pity to do it now.

And already, I am passing my 30s and looking toward my 40s.

 

I still find it difficult to eat with my front teeth, so I am using other teeth instead.

I think I've adapted to some extent.

I'm still feeling complex about it and think I should do something, but I'm worried about whether orthodontics or implants would be better.

 

Which is better if both crooked front teeth correction and implants are possible? (Almost 40 years old)

Braces require removing adjacent teeth and take a long time, but the advantage is that I can keep my own teeth.

The disadvantage of implants is that my teeth need to be extracted, and the advantage is that it takes less time.

The advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are really opposite.

And I am also worried about my age. Is orthodontic treatment possible in my 40s?
