Is there a way to resolve the side effect of black triangles after correction?
A black triangle is a black triangular space that appears between the gums and teeth after braces.
The cause of black triangles is that the gums recede due to the influence of braces, or the teeth that were overlapping before braces straighten out, revealing a space.
I think it's both.
It was fine during the braces treatment, but after it was over, three black triangles appeared on my lower teeth.
If you look closely, the triangle looks better than in the photo.
In particular, the center of the front teeth is a proper triangle...
Since I got braces as an adult, the dentist said that adult braces are unavoidable.
But orthodontic treatment is time-consuming and expensive, and it's a shame that these side effects(?) occur after the treatment is finished.
Because the space between your teeth is dark, it shows up really well when you look in the mirror or in photos.
And that empty space is not only an aesthetic problem, but also a problem because food and tartar easily accumulate there.
Are there any people who, like me, have black triangles after braces?
I'm wondering if you just left it alone or if you had any treatment or procedure done to it or if there was another way.
