Is this a symptom of insomnia?
As you get older, you tend to fall asleep earlier and wake up earlier, right?
It's a family story. From the pattern, it seems like they watch YouTube until past 11, then lie down, toss and turn, and appear to be falling asleep or just about to fall asleep.
It seems to me that I spend more time lying down, but I often talk about how I "couldn't sleep a wink all night."
You are not currently taking any medication prescriptions or sleeping pills, but when you try to settle down to sleep, you say you can't fall asleep.
I'm unsure how to give advice.
It is difficult to determine whether it is neurocognitive or truly a lack of sleep.
