A vivid experience of fainting at a young age
I experienced fainting when I was in my twenties.
Fainting seems to have nothing to do with age.
I am trying to maintain my condition at its best after experiencing fainting.
I have been quite healthy since I was young.
Compared to my relatively weaker biological sister, I am not close to the hospital and don't have any significant memories of being seriously ill.
I used to joke when I was young, saying I wish I could try herbal medicine once~
Then, when I turned in my twenties, I went on a very intense diet.
I now know about healthy dieting, but at the time, I chose a diet method that involved eating very little.
Since then, small incidents started to gradually emerge.
(I drew a picture to help with understanding ^^)
The first symptom is that when looking at the sky or a bright place, the vision concentrates in the center in front of the eyes.
A white haze like steam was forming and I felt dizzy.
There was no orthostatic hypotension as a second symptom, but it has developed out of habit.
As you can see in the picture, suddenly the surroundings darkened and I sat down.
When it was severe, I would feel dizzy even while walking on the street, so I would kneel down and catch my breath.
It was an ordinary weekend when the fainting incident occurred.
I hadn't been able to eat properly the day before either.
I woke up feeling refreshed as usual on the weekend and opened the door.
What unfolded before my eyes was an unbelievable sight.
It's definitely my house... It's been several months since I last drank alcohol...
There was no living room to come out of as soon as I opened the door, and a car on the dark night street hit me, causing me to collapse from the shock.
I had never been in a car accident when I was young, so it was a really strange experience.
Suddenly, as the bright light entered, my already weakened body couldn't handle it and even experienced hallucinations, causing me to faint.
I fainted and felt my back of the head hitting the dresser and chair, but when I woke up, I was in bed, and my mom was looking at me with a worried expression.
When I went to the hospital right away, they said that extreme dieting had weakened both the body and the mind significantly.
Everything has been fine since the fainting, but I still have orthostatic hypotension.
Not taking care of your body to the point of fainting seems like a really stupid thing to do.
Since I was severely hurt once, my health has become the top priority in everything I do.
Now, even when dieting, I am choosing a healthy way.
