I'm afraid because I don't know when or how orthostatic hypotension will occur.

When sitting or lying down and suddenly standing up, I feel dizzy and my head spins.

If you stay in that state for a while, you will feel a sensation of blood flowing and then return to normal.

At first, I didn't know what this was, but later I found out it was orthostatic hypotension.

Hello?

Do you feel dizzy or lightheaded when you suddenly stand up after sitting or lying down?

I often experienced that, so I thought everyone did.

But it turns out to be orthostatic hypotension symptoms.

Fortunately, staying in that state for a while made me feel as if blood was circulating, and I returned to normal, so I didn't realize the severity.

So, if you feel dizzy when you stand up after sitting or lying down

Oh! I realize it's orthostatic hypotension.

Stand still in that spot and wait for it to come to normal.

The problem is that the dizziness symptoms worsen with age.

It takes longer to return to normal.

So, I looked into orthostatic hypotension once.

I'm afraid because I don't know when or how orthostatic hypotension will occur.

Orthostatic hypotension refers to a condition where, after measuring blood pressure while lying down and then standing up, the blood pressure drops by at least 20 mmHg in systolic pressure or 10 mmHg in diastolic pressure within three minutes of standing.

It is common to experience blurring of vision and loss of focus, along with symptoms such as dizziness, weakness, general fatigue, and nausea. In particular, sudden severe dizziness often occurs when getting up from bed in the morning.

In my case, I didn't actually measure my blood pressure right away, but since the symptoms were the same, I concluded that it was orthostatic hypotension.

My vision blurred, I lost my sense of balance, and I felt dizzy.

Moreover, I experienced it more often during daily life than when I woke up in the morning.

The problem with orthostatic hypotension is that there is no medication to treat it.

It mainly occurs when changing positions, so it is recommended to develop the habit of moving your body slowly.

So I try not to stand up suddenly.

Let's try to prevent orthostatic hypotension in daily life through effort.
