I have been working night shifts for over five years. When I work, I can't sleep at night, and when I get home after work, my body strangely signals that it is tired, but as soon as I lie down on the bed, I can't fall asleep due to racing thoughts. This vicious cycle has continued, and as a result, I have developed severe migraines. They occur periodically. I have been prescribed medication for this, and I take it whenever it happens, but I wonder if there are any other good experiences or solutions. I really wish I could have a restful sleep at least once.
