Overcoming Swimming-Induced Headaches

I have been swimming for a long time~

I have been swimming since before COVID-19.

Unable to swim due to COVID-19.

It's been a little over a year since I started again.

It was about three months since I started swimming again.

One day, during swimming lessons, I experienced severe headache and pain at the back of my head.

I am experiencing a pulling sensation.

At first, I was a bit tired and not feeling well.

However, since then, breathing has become a little difficult.

Such symptoms appear even if you hold your breath for just a moment.

I have just started to be born.

So I was thinking I should take a break from swimming for a bit.

It was the weekend, but there were some things that made me angry.

My heart is pounding rapidly, and my back of the neck feels very...

I feel like eating...ㅠ

My fiancé suggested we go to the hospital because he might not be able to.

I hurriedly visited a nearby large hospital.

I talked about my symptoms, and then I was swimming.

They said it seems like a headache caused by exercise.

I haven't just been swimming for a day or two, but suddenly...

I asked if that's possible. Exercise-induced headache.

No one knows when it will appear.

However, symptoms occur even without swimming.

There might be other problems since it existed.

Let's get a CT scan first..ㅠ

I had a CT scan. Fortunately, there is no abnormality.

I will prescribe a blood circulation medication.

Try eating it first, and if it still doesn't improve, then consider hospitalization for an MRI.

They said I need to take a picture.

 

What is called exertional headache

When you exercise a lot or with high intensity

Suddenly, as the body temperature rises, the blood vessels dilate.

It is said that increased blood flow can cause a pulling sensation at the back of the head.

So, I think you prescribed a blood circulation medication.

I have been taking the medication for a week.

Swim once after three days of taking the medication

I went there~~!! The symptoms didn't appear..

Yay~~ haha

I wondered if the problem was blood circulation..

So, I urgently need to find a blood circulation enhancer.

I purchased it and am currently taking it.

And until now, never had any symptoms.

There has never been any appearance~~!!
