If you have trouble falling asleep at night or are easily irritated, try peeling an onion and placing it near your head while sleeping. My father also tends to be nervous and easily stressed, so he often sleeps poorly and loses a lot of hair... I overheard somewhere that this might help, so I gently placed an onion near his pillow when he was sleeping. At first, he asked why I brought something that smelled so bad... After about a month of doing this lightly and subtly, I don't know if he thought it was effective or just a coincidence, but he started sleeping more deeply and said his head didn't hurt anymore after sleeping. These days, I still bring an onion every evening, and in the morning, he washes and eats it with his meal. Leaving it overnight doesn't spoil, so I think it's a win-win situation.
