PMS headache

I have very severe headaches before and after my period.

Last year, even though it had been more than a week since my period ended, my headache didn't go away, and I was really scared.

So I went to the neurology department to get a CT or MRI scan. However, they recommended an ultrasound.

Fortunately, no abnormal findings were observed, and the headache might be caused by severe muscle tension in the neck and shoulders.

They said they don't know. Due to the nature of my work, I do use my shoulders and arms a lot.

While taking swimming lessons, my neck and shoulder muscles were extremely tense, but swimming only made my headaches worse.

The training was also discontinued. I think the doctor was right, so these days I get neck and shoulder massages before and after my period.

I'm working hard. A few years ago, I bought a massage machine for my son to carry on his shoulder, and these days it's really effective.

I told you I am watching.

I'm curious about how people suffering from headaches due to menstrual syndrome are being treated.
