I am curious about benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

I sometimes feel dizziness or vertigo, and I wonder if it might be benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). I had a severe episode of BPPV before, so I try to be careful. However, I sometimes feel the room spinning when I walk, wake up, or even while sleeping. I've heard that BPPV tends to recur frequently, and I wonder if I should go to the hospital each time or just get prescribed medication. I also do some BPPV exercises occasionally, but I want to know if recurrences happen when my immune system is weakened or due to stress. The pain was very intense when I had BPPV, and I don't want to experience that again. Therefore, I would like to know the recurrence cycle and condition of others who have experienced BPPV and visited the hospital.
