My experience with back pain treatment and recovery from back pain that worsened in the morning

Recently, I began experiencing severe pain when I leaned to the right immediately after waking up in the morning, so I sought treatment for lower back pain. I was told that poor sleep or poor posture could be the cause, and I realized the need for an accurate diagnosis and treatment. Through a combination of injections, physical therapy, and medication, I experienced gradual relief.

 

For the past few days, I've been having trouble sleeping, and upon waking up in the morning, I've experienced pain in my lower back, making it difficult to move. Leaning to the right or trying to straighten my back would intensify the pain, making daily life difficult. I initially thought it was just muscle aches, but the pain persisted, so I visited the hospital for a consultation on lower back pain treatment.

 

During the examination, the doctor first assessed my lower back movement and pain range. He explained that my muscles and ligaments were strained due to sudden postural imbalances or poor sleeping posture. Fortunately, it wasn't a major problem like a herniated disc, but the doctor advised me that the pain was so severe that aggressive back pain treatment was necessary. Accordingly, he began with injections to quickly relieve inflammation and pain.

 

After the injection, I received physical therapy to relax the muscles around my lower back. I received a combination of heat therapy and electrical stimulation, and my lower back felt much more relaxed than before. The doctor also prescribed medication to maintain the effects of my lower back pain treatment and instructed me to take it regularly for the prescribed period. After about two days of taking the medication, the sharp pain I felt with movement gradually subsided.

 

The most important thing I learned during my back pain treatment was to avoid excessive movement and any sudden twisting of the back. I was also advised to use a mattress that supports the back rather than a bed that's too soft when sleeping. I was also advised to keep my back straight when sitting and to avoid maintaining the same posture for long periods of time.

 

Before treatment, I simply dismissed the pain as a result of poor sleep, but after receiving treatment for my back pain, I realized how important early management is. Now, the discomfort I felt upon waking up in the morning has almost completely disappeared, and my daily activities have become much easier. This experience has made it clear to me that when you feel any abnormalities in your back, don't put up with it; seek treatment for back pain promptly is the shortcut to recovery.

    저도 허리 통증으로 꽤나 고생을 했던지라... 공감이 많이 가네요.. 몸의 중심인 허리가 아프면 일상생활이 많이 불편하더라구요... 평소에 관리를 열심히 해주어야 그나마 유지가 되는거같더라구요~~~
