I posted a while ago about a spot on my eye mucous membrane that I was worried about. I'm not sure if anyone remembers.⬇️
I finally removed that point! At the beginning of January, I was 고민하다 (struggling/conflicted), but today I am posting before-and-after photos after the removalㅎㅎ From now on, I will share my laser treatment review and before-and-after photos!
My mole was a special mole located on the eye mucous membrane rather than a common mole. It wasn't on the forehead or cheek, but on the mucous membrane or a special area. When I read the information at the dermatologist's office, I also saw that it is called a refractory mole.
I had a small dot on the mucous membrane line, and I was really 고민 about whether to remove it or not. Since it's close to the eye, I was worried that using a laser to remove the dot might affect my eye.
Moreover, the local dermatology clinics around the neighborhood are not very willing to remove moles in that area, so I was even more worried.
In the end, I was leaning towards removing it, so I diligently searched and found a hospital where removal was possible, and I had the procedure done!!
Difference before and after laser
My liver hospital was a dermatology clinic. First, they applied anesthesia cream, and I was worried whether it would work well, but it did, haha. After about 30 minutes, I was taken directly to the procedure room. The moles are removed with a laser.
I remember that the procedure itself took about 5 minutes.
During the procedure, a protective lens similar to contact lenses was placed inside my eye to remove the special point, but it didn't hurt. Then the laser procedure began, and I was surprised that it finished faster than I expected.
Difference before and after laser
Ta-da! This is a photo taken immediately after the laser procedure to clearly document the before-and-after difference.
The hole is gone, haha. The spot has disappeared!! Can you see the difference before and after the laser?
They say that if you remove the mole, you should stick something like a DuoDerm or Medifoam, but for special moles like mucosal moles, that's not possible, so they just told me to apply ointment diligently.
Laser before and after difference - Now
This photo was taken right after washing my face, so it looks red. The recovery period is faster than expected. It's been two weeks, and a lot of new pink skin has grown back.
The eyelashes under the underline where the mole was removed had to be cut off, but they'll grow back someday, right? If they don't, I guess I should at least apply some nutrients... Still, I'm happy that the mole has been removed for now.
It was cleaned up nicely, wasn't it? I'm so amazed that I keep looking at the before-and-after photos of the laser treatment😀👍🏻
This is a review of the difference before and after laser removal of moles!
