I received short thread lifting along the jawline with 10 threads, and it was very painful both during the procedure and afterward. However, on the second day after the procedure, the area on the right side of my face where I had the treatment became swollen and firm, possibly due to inflammation. I was prescribed a three-day course of antibiotics at the clinic where I had the procedure, and I have been taking them. Now, a month has passed. At one month after the thread lifting, the swelling has not fully gone down, and when I touch the area, it feels slightly bulging. Is this residual swelling, or has the swelling from the thread lifting caused inflammation and tissue changes that have become permanent? I have worked hard to improve my face with monthly lifting and V-volt injections, and I was happy with my appearance before, but after the thread lifting, my face has become swollen and it hasn't gone back. The doctor said it would dissolve after six months, but I am worried.
