Curious about the difference between Thermage and Ultherapy? Sharing before-and-after photos.
Are there any questions about the difference between Thermage and Ultherapy?
When I first looked into the procedure, I was curious about this difference.
Now that I have experienced both procedures, I want to compare their differences and effects!
Thermage and Ultherapy are both lifting procedures, well-known for increasing skin elasticity and improving wrinkles, haha.
However, these two procedures differ in the techniques used and the effects experienced!
First, Thermage uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen in the skin, thereby instantly improving skin elasticity. After receiving Thermage, I felt my skin become noticeably tighter. As the week went by, I could see my skin tone become more even and fine wrinkles improve. I can feel my skin gradually becoming more firm!
Thermage before and after photos (1 month later) is the line clear now, right?!
On the other hand, Ultherapy uses ultrasound to deliver energy deep into the skin layers, shaping the contours and lifting the skin to make it more elastic. Ultherapy provides a slightly stronger lifting effect compared to Thermage, but the procedure can be quite painful... I applied numbing cream before the procedure ㅠ Still, the biggest advantage of Ultherapy is that you can see the effects immediately after the treatment. When I first received Ultherapy, I was first surprised by the pain, and then I was surprised again by the results.
Ultherapy before and after photos (3 days later) the contour has become clearer.
Please be careful not to get too strong of a treatment with Ultherapy, as it may cause a hollowing effect.
Both Thermage and Ultherapy have their advantages and disadvantages.
If you prefer to avoid pain even for long-term lifting effects, then Thermage is recommended.
If you want immediate firmness even if it causes some discomfort, I recommend Ultherapy~
If you are reading this and considering Thermage and Ultherapy procedures,
I hope this helps you choose a more suitable procedure, haha.
