I want to undergo a removal procedure for skin tags using a CO2 laser.

These days, I have a concern.

A few skin tags have appeared on my neck, and it seems like the number has increased.

It seems to spread around more as time passes.

At first, I didn't really notice, but now it seems to catch my eye, and I can even feel it with my hand, so I feel a bit down for no reason. Ehh~

So, I decided that I wanted to undergo a skin tag removal procedure.

This is a skin fibroma characterized by abnormal enlargement of the skin's fibrous tissue.

2. Where is the site of occurrence?

Skin tags mainly appear on the eyelids, neck, armpits, and groin, but can occur anywhere on the body.

Pain or itching are not present, but the appearance is not good and it may grow larger over time, so it is recommended to remove it.

3. Who is good-looking?

It occurs more frequently among middle-aged and elderly people than among young adults.

It occurs more frequently in people who are overweight or obese compared to those with normal weight.

It occurs more frequently in women, especially pregnant women, than in men.

4. Precautions

You should never try to remove a skin tag using tools like a needle, nail clipper, or similar objects.

This method not only increases the size and extent of skin tags but also poses a high risk of bacterial infection.

And because it resembles conditions like seborrheic keratosis, verruca vulgaris, or flat warts, I strongly recommend consulting a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and removal.

For the removal of skin tags, devices such as the Inlight Pico Laser, Photona QX-MAX Laser, and CO2 Laser are used.

Among them, I will look into the CO2 laser.

 

 

CO2 lasers are said to cause less damage to surrounding tissues and do not carbonize the skin tissue that receives the laser light.

What are the advantages?

1. The procedure time is short.

2. Recovery is quick.

3. The treatment area is naturally disinfected.

4. The scar hardly remains.

 

Since it's summer now, I have to postpone the procedure a little, but when autumn comes and the weather gets cooler, I definitely want to get the skin tag removal procedure and have a clean neck again.
