Record of the day I received Portra Lifting at the Hongik University Station Dermatology Clinic (Lalafill + 50KJ)
At a gathering of friends, I mentioned that I was going to Hongdae Dermatology Clinic this week to get a facelift, and some people said that the effect of facelifts might not be as noticeable once you reach your 50s.
I laughed it off as a joke, saying that I'm at an age where I should be getting surgery instead of getting a procedure haha
Personally, I feel like regular lifting is saving money for my skin, so I just keep doing it.
I have tried titanium and ondari lifting before, so I wanted to try something a little more upgraded this time, so I kept searching and found out about portra lifting. It's done.
Since it was a relatively new procedure, I wanted to avoid places with little experience, so I chose the Hongik University Station dermatology clinic and visited there.
Hongik University Station is full of people, and the dermatology clinics are bustling too.
Still, it was convenient to get around because it was right next to the subway, and parking was convenient.
Upon arrival, before the consultation, I first checked my skin condition with Mark View, ultrasound equipment, and EVE V (precise skin diagnosis). They showed in detail everything from skin age to tear troughs, neck wrinkles, marionette wrinkles, pigment spots, nasolabial folds, fine wrinkles under the eyes, double chin, and lower jaw line.
I was a bit surprised when I saw the skin age results. I looked 10 years younger than my actual age, so much so that I wanted to take a picture of it.
While I was waiting after washing my face, my face felt tight so I kept spraying moisture spray on it, and the consultation was conducted while checking the matching value based on the skin diagnosis results.
The consultation was very detailed and explained everything step by step, so I didn't even realize how much time had passed.
After payment, I first proceeded with Larafil management.
After applying Larafil 1, waiting, applying 2, and then receiving LED treatment, I felt like my skin was glowing.
I also heard explanations about exfoliation, skin tone, elasticity, and moisture balance.
Then go to get a Portra Lift.
I taped my hair to prevent it from getting burnt, looked at the before picture in the mirror, and then proceeded while lying down.
Before starting, the director explained it to me once more and confirmed which areas would be focused on.
The treatment I received was
-
Larafil goes first
-
Portra Lifting 50KJ
=> Deep ball ~ jawline lifting (1st priority)
up face: forehead wrinkles (-)
mid face: asymmetrical (L=R)
low face: asymmetry (L=R), deep cheek sagging
(Why are you explaining it so difficultly..!)
The pain felt much weaker than titanium, perhaps because of the cooling sensation.
It was just a little bit of a rush? I think I understand why they say it's okay to receive it while sleeping. The redness did come up, but it subsided quickly.
As soon as I got it, I felt like my jawline was more defined, and I kept checking it in the mirror.
When I got home, the redness had almost disappeared and my double chin seemed to have been smoothed out.
After a few days, I felt like my pores and skin elasticity had noticeably changed. I was particularly concerned about the pores in my butterfly zone, but they became less prominent as they gained elasticity.
Rather than saying that the depth of the skin has increased significantly, it seems to have changed to a more blurred feeling.
I was told that Portra Lifting targets the retaining ligaments, so collagen synthesis and strengthening can be felt gradually from the second week, and that there may be immediate effects + different changes after 2-3 days.
I also heard an explanation that it is a method in which four wavelengths are output simultaneously (the existing three + 940nm LASER added).
There was almost no downtime, so I didn't feel like it was noticeable even if I got it the day before an important event. In fact, I got it right before a wedding and was able to return to my daily routine without any problems.
The redness also disappeared within a day.
When I looked at it right after washing my face, I felt like my skin had become more elastic overall, and the asymmetry on the left and right sides looked less awkward than before.
It is true that it feels like it has been lifted when viewed from the front, but the perceived change was slightly different in each area.
I was advised that the recommended Portralifting cycle is three or more times at one-month intervals, and that it is a treatment targeting the retaining ligament, so it is a type that gradually improves.
It's only been a few days since then, so I think it would be best to keep watching and see if there are any changes.
