Hongdae Dermatology Clinic Rejuran Review after putting off treatment due to pain

These days, it's so famous that there are almost no people who don't know about Rejuran.

 

 

I've always wanted to try it, but I kept putting it off because I'd heard so many people say that Rejuran is very painful.

 

I know it improves my skin, but I don't have the courage to actually try it.

 

So, rather than going straight to Rejuran, I tried a few skin boosters that were said to be less painful to build up the feeling, but to be honest, I don't think I ever felt much of an effect.

 

In the end, I decided to just try Rejuran once, so I went to Hongdae Dermatology. When I was choosing a hospital, the criteria I looked at were whether the drug loss was minimal and whether I could get it done with as little pain as possible.

 

The location is right in front of Hongik University Station, so I ran there right after work.

 

There are many different types of skin boosters. The most common ones are hyaluronic acid and PDRN. Hyaluronic acid particles aren't that large, so they're relatively less painful, but I personally don't remember feeling much of an effect.

 

PDRN is the ingredient Rejuran, and it is said to be made using a substance found in salmon reproductive organs.

 

I heard that because the viscosity is high and the particles are large, the injection itself and the injection itself are quite painful when they enter the skin.

 

But the Hongdae Dermatology Clinic I went to said that Rejuran was less painful, so I was a bit interested in that part.

 

I had received Rejuran through Dermashine before, but I don't know if it was due to drug loss, but there was no change as much as I had expected. I was like, "They said Rejuran was good, but why isn't there any change?" and I remember being a little disappointed at the time.

 

So this time, I thought I was being fooled and decided to get it done again, and the pain when I got it was a lot less than I expected.

 

There were more than a few times when I screamed, held my breath, and felt dizzy when I got other skin boosters that were supposed to be less painful, but this time it wasn't like that.

 

I also heard an explanation of why there may be less drug loss, but they said that since Rejuran requires a lot of manual technique, there may be loss depending on the method of treatment.

 

Here, they said that instead of using existing needles, they use specially made 5mm long dermal layer needles to ensure that each stitch is inserted evenly.

 

He also explained that the injection is evenly done in 0.2cc units using a press machine, and that the amount of PN absorbed per cell is limited, so any PN that is not absorbed can be excreted.

 

Before the procedure, I had a 3D skin diagnosis and consultation, and in my case, the area around my nose and chin was found to be very dry.

 

 

I usually thought that it was mainly used on the butterfly zone or forehead, but I felt a little different when I heard that they were focusing more on dry areas based on the diagnosis.

 

And I felt a bit reassured that they showed me the process of opening the injection product and that it was done in an open state.

 

 

They even showed me the custom-made needles, and they seemed to be different in length from regular needles.

 

They said that embossment varies from person to person, but mine didn't really get worse.

 

 

By the time I got home, I was feeling pretty down, and since I had to get it on a weekday and go to work the next day, that was actually a good thing.

 

It was a bit red and swollen on the first day, but it subsided a lot after a day or so. I received aftercare and went home.

 

 

It's been about a week since I received Rejuran, and the dry areas feel like they've been moisturized, and the inflamed areas feel like they've subsided a bit.

 

 

They say it will get more shiny after about two weeks..! I'm looking forward to it.
