Hongdae Dermatology Painless Rejuran Review: Less Painful, One-Week Changes with the IJEC B Method, and Improved Skin Texture and Glow
“I know Rejuran is good, but… I hesitated because I heard it hurt.”
These days, many people feel like their skin is particularly dry and thin, and that it loses elasticity even if left untreated for a little while.
I was in exactly that situation.
No matter how hard I applied foundation, the tightness remained and my skin continued to feel weak overall.
So, naturally, I started searching for Rejuran.
There is one problem… “Rejuran = It really hurts” are reviews
When I was looking into Rejuran, there were only two things that I was most concerned about.
-
pain
-
Drug loss (leakage)
There are many reports that regular hand sanitizers are very painful and that mechanical high cooks can leak medication.
Then I found out about the iJEC B method.
-
Adjust injection pressure and speed based on pain algorithm
-
Less painful than a grandma's injection
-
The drug penetrates the skin evenly, leaving little loss.
In particular, I was hesitant to visit this Hongdae Dermatology Clinic because I heard that they actually do a lot of research on Rejuran pain and loss.
Location map 1 minute walk from Hongik University Station Exit 8 It was less burdensome than I thought.
Hospital atmosphere & first impressions
The hospital interior was overall clean, and the pre- and post-procedure portfolios were organized, so it was easy to refer to them while waiting.
It didn't feel like a factory, but rather like, "Oh, they've tried a lot of Rejuran here."
Pre-procedure process
Self-washing
To accurately check the condition of my skin, I washed my face before the procedure.

Honestly, at this point I thought, “Oh, this isn’t really factory-style.”
My skin is

Thin and dry overall
-
The biggest concern is pores
-
So I decided to go with Butterfly Zone + Rejuran for the lip area.
Anesthesia & Procedure Preparation
For anesthesia, they applied Emmaus cream generously.
-
It is relatively safe for those with lidocaine allergies as it contains a low amount of lidocaine.
-
The anesthesia was kept long enough so the perceived pain was definitely reduced.
You also used very thin ones, which gave me the feeling that “you really put effort into making sure it doesn’t hurt.”
Isaac B Rejuran, how much pain did it actually have?
To conclude, it was at a “tolerable” level.
-
Definitely less painful than a regular handjob
-
The pressure is constant, so there is less of a sudden stabbing sensation.
-
I have the luxury of filming (I actually filmed myself)
I can't exaggerate and say it's painless, but I thought, "I could probably get this done regularly."
Condition immediately after the procedure
-
Embossing: Yes (Normal)
-
Bruise: I tend to bruise easily, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.
-
Red flag: Noticeably subsides by the time you leave the hospital
Because it was done so meticulously, the overall stimulation wasn't that great.
Changes the next day | Downtime check
This is the part that people who are worried about Rejuran are most curious about.
✔ The next day
-
Embo almost disappeared
-
Bruises can be sufficiently covered with makeup.
-
Even with a bare face, my skin feels slightly firmer.
The bruise cream the hospital gave me also helped quite a bit.
From the very next day onwards, I had no problems with my daily life or going out.
Changes after a week | Honestly, I was the most satisfied at this time.
From then on, I could definitely feel it.
-
Skin texture improvement
-
Subtle skin glow
-
Overall, it feels firm
It was obvious in the photo, and when I actually touched it, I could feel the difference in skin density.
When I was taking pictures while traveling in Ulsan, I actually heard people say, “Your skin is really nice.”
Things to note
-
Not completely painless (but tolerable)
-
If you have a constitution that bruises easily, you need to be a little prepared.
If you are considering Rejuran, especially if you are looking for a pain-free method, I felt that this method was worth considering.
I am very satisfied and plan to continue to receive regular treatment.
