Konkuk University Blemish Removal Laser Review – Treating Melasma, Spots, and Flat Warts All at Once!

No matter how firm and moist your face is, if you have many blemishes and dark spots, it looks dull and messy.

💡 Items to prepare on the day of laser treatment

The hospital is near the subway station, so it's easily accessible, and it's right on the first floor, making it easy to find.
The interior was also comfortable and clean.

During the pre-procedure consultation, I was told that there are quite a few freckles, blemishes, flat warts, and moles on the skin, especially a broad and light pigmentation called Ota nevus.

It was truly, literally, 'full of blemishes overall.'

Anesthesia & Procedure Process

 

First, apply anesthetic cream all over the face and wait for about 30 minutes.
The anesthesia was so effective that I lost sensation, and the laser procedure was performed in that state.

The eyes were covered with a protective cloth, but there were many blemishes around the eyes that needed to be removed.
Especially, the 'Triple Dot' on the temple remains in my memory. It was so noticeable that I even thought it was mascara smudged and someone wiped it off around me.

Appearance immediately after laser & pain

 

All the flat warts that were difficult to see were completely removed, and the procedure was performed using various laser tips depending on the depth of pigmentation.
They said they reduced the intensity of the deep pigment to avoid scarring concerns.

The pain varied depending on the area.
The cheekbones and cheeks had a tingling sensation, while areas with deeper pigmentation like around the eyes experienced slight warmth, and the removal of flat warts was almost painless.

Post-procedure care

 

Immediately after the procedure, my face felt very hot with a sensation of heat.
So, they use a calming mask pack and a cooling device for cooling, and the heat sensation subsides quickly.

The removal area was covered with cut duoderm, and I was told never to peel off the scab with my hands.
Washing the face is prohibited on the day, but it is allowed from the next day.
You must apply sunscreen carefully over Duoderm. (Recommended every 2-3 hours)

One week later

 

I was advised to keep the Duoderm for a week, but due to the sticky feeling and discomfort when going out, I removed it on the fifth day.
Makeup was started on the 7th day after the scab fell off, and scrubs or skin care were recommended after 4 weeks.

Before & After

 

 

Since it's only one procedure, some areas haven't completely disappeared yet, but thanks to the noticeably lightened freckles and blemishes, I feel happier every time I look in the mirror.
I could also feel that my skin tone had become much more even.

From now on, I will diligently apply sunscreen and make sure to bring a parasol when going out.
I'm really relieved to see the areas that used to cause me skin-related stress visibly improve.

My friends around me also saw the changed look of my face and asked me to go get the procedure together.
