"North's second deployment of 1,500 troops, already sent to the battlefield... Russia is preparing 3,500 troops."

On the 5th, it was reported that the size of the North Korean troops dispatched for the second time to the Ukraine war is 1,500, and they have already been deployed in the frontline area of Kursk, Russia. Representative Yoo cited Ukrainian intelligence authorities and others on this day, stating that an additional 3,500 North Korean troops (third deployment) could be sent to the battlefield.

Rep. Yoo, who visited Ukraine from the 23rd to the 26th of last month, issued a press release on that day, stating, "During my visit to Ukraine, I met with Kirill Budanov, Director of the Main Intelligence Directorate (Lieutenant General), and senior commanders from the special operations forces," and added, "(According to them) 1,500 North Korean soldiers dispatched in the second deployment have already completed local adaptation training and are stationed near Kursk, Russia." North Korea's additional deployment was due to a significant number of the first batch of deployed troops having been sent into combat and either killed or injured. The first batch of North Korean troops consisted of about 12,000 soldiers, with approximately 4,000 casualties reported. Rep. Yoo also mentioned, "About 3,500 North Korean soldiers are undergoing local adaptation training in five regions of the Russian Far East, and there is a possibility of a third deployment."

According to Representative Yoo, the Ukrainian military assesses that five North Korean soldiers have combat capabilities comparable to ten Russian soldiers. During a meeting with Representative Yoo, North Korean prisoner Baek stated, "The most important part of the training is physical education," and added, "We run 100 ri (39.27 km) a week, and on the last day of the month, we run 200 ri. It takes 4 hours to run 100 ri and 8 hours for 200 ri. The backpack weighs between 20 to 25 kg."

Korean intelligence authorities assess that the North Korean military is adapting to modern warfare involving drones, prompted by their deployment to Russia. A high-ranking government official stated, "The North Korean troops initially dispatched were not well-versed in modern warfare and conducted large-scale operations in the field, resulting in many casualties," and added, "After reorganization and redeployment to the front lines, they are believed to be conducting small-scale troop operations tailored to modern warfare." It is also known that the North Korean military has learned drone-related attack and defense tactics through their interactions with the Russian military.

I hope North Korea either collapses quickly or a coup occurs and overturns the regime.

Why is Kim Jong-un dispatching so many troops to try to atone for such a great sin?

I'm saddened to hear that more than 3/1 of the first deployment personnel became casualties, leading to a second deployment.

I hope the war ends as soon as possible, even if only for a day.
