There are many housewives around me who are raising their grandchildren.

Since grandparents who take care of their grandchildren are eligible for the <Grandparent Allowance>, those who meet the following criteria should be sure to apply~

 

Ulsan City will begin supporting grandparent caregiving allowances for grandchildren caring for 2-year-old infants starting in March. The target recipients are grandparents caring for 2-year-old infants in households with a median income of 150% or less residing in Ulsan, as announced by Ulsan City on the 25th. However, those receiving similar childcare support such as childcare fees or full-day child care due to working parents, single parents, or multi-child households are excluded. The allowance provides up to 300,000 won per month based on 40 hours of care, with 450,000 won for two infants and up to 600,000 won for three infants. The allowance is directly deposited into the grandparent's account; if the grandparent is not a Ulsan resident, it is deposited into the parent's account. The city will accept applications until February 7th prior to the support. Families who entrust their 2-year-old infants to grandparents from March 2022 to March 2023 can apply by visiting the local administrative welfare center in their residence between the 1st and 15th of the month when the child turns 23 months old. Selected grandparents must undergo separate training by the end of February to start receiving the allowance from March.
