On Thursday, the cold snap will continue with the morning low temperature dropping to -12°C, and some areas are expected to receive snow.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the minimum temperature on the morning of the 19th is forecasted to be between -12°C and 0°C, and the maximum daytime temperature is expected to be between 3°C and 11°C.

Heavy snow is expected mainly in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk. Heavy, moist snow at a rate of about 3 cm per hour is forecasted for the southern eastern coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the northern eastern coast and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, as well as Ulleungdo and Dokdo. Additionally, significant snowfall of 1 to 2 cm per hour is expected on the west coast of Jeonbuk, the southern inland areas of Jeonbuk, and the mountainous regions of Jeju Island.

The fine dust concentration is expected to be in the 'Good' to 'Moderate' range across the entire region due to smooth atmospheric movement.

Waves in the sea are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea. The wave height in the offshore areas (about 200 km from the coast) is predicted to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea.
