This revision will apply to apartment complexes that announce their recruitment of residents after the 18th.

 

 

People who own a single villa in Seoul or the metropolitan area with an exclusive area of 85㎡ or less and a publicly assessed value of 500 million won or less are recognized as non-homeowners when applying for a subscription. The market value is approximately 700 million to 800 million won.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 17th, the revision of the 'Rules on Housing Supply' with this content will be announced and enforced the next day.

Accordingly, in the metropolitan area, those with an exclusive area of 85㎡ or less and a publicly assessed value of 500 million won or less meet the criteria for non-homeowners; in the provinces, those with an area of 85㎡ or less and a publicly assessed value of 300 million won or less also meet the criteria.

Previously, owners of apartments or non-apartments in the metropolitan area with a exclusive area of 60㎡ or less and a publicly announced price of 160 million won or less (in provincial areas, exclusive area of 60㎡ or less and publicly announced price of 100 million won or less) were recognized as non-homeowners when applying for subscriptions.

This revision will apply to apartment complexes that announce their recruitment of residents after the 18th.

A Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport official explained, "Whether or not a person is without a home is determined based on the official price at the time of the resident recruitment announcement, so even if the official price rises at the time of move-in, it does not affect the selection."
