CJ CheilJedang's 'Bibigo' dumplings have been discontinued from sale after plastic foreign objects were found in some products.

On the 24th, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced that it will suspend sales and recall some 'Bibigo' dumpling products contaminated with plastic.

The product subject to recall is "Bibigo Thick Kimchi Dumplings" 400g, manufactured by CJ CheilJedang, with a consumption deadline of June 23, 2025.

The seller storing the product must cease sales and return it to the return operator.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety advised that consumers who purchased the product should stop consumption and return it to the place of purchase.

A CJ CheilJedang official stated, "We are voluntarily recalling the product prioritizing consumer safety," and emphasized, "We will further strengthen our quality control system to prevent recurrence in the future."
