단지 배터리가 다 된것일뿐일텐데 왠지 사람이 쓰러지는것처럼 안쓰러운건 저만 그런가요! 왠지 짠하네요.
Robot collapses after working for 20 hours straight... The reason behind the reaction saying "It's unfortunate"
A video showing a robot that had been moving heavy objects nonstop all day collapsing weakly onto the floor has recently gained attention.
On the 18th (local time), an overseas netizen posted a related video titled "A robot collapsing after working continuously for 20 hours in a warehouse."
The video shows a robot repeatedly taking items from a shelf and transferring them onto a conveyor belt. As the robot continues its task, its speed suddenly slows significantly, and at the moment it takes an item from the shelf, it collapses directly onto the floor.
This video was filmed at the logistics exhibition 'ProMat 2023' held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, in March of last year.
The robot in the video is the humanoid robot 'Digit' developed by the American startup Agility Robotics, and it is responsible for handling materials within the logistics center.
This robot, designed to carry up to 16 kg, can crouch in place, detect and avoid obstacles, and is capable of transporting goods from loading and unloading to delivery at the entrance.
At the time, the exhibition hall was demonstrating object transportation. Visitors watching this scene with interest were also surprised when the robot fell down.
Agility Robotics previously shared this video directly on their official social media (SNS) accounts. The company stated, "While we achieved a 99% success rate with Promate, we still experience fall accidents."
Domestic and international netizens who saw the video late expressed reactions such as "It's a robot, but I feel sorry for it like a human," "It looks like a worker suffering from overwork," "I know it just needs to be charged, but I feel sorry for it anyway," and "If robots can overwork themselves to death, I wonder how much worse it must be for humans."
