"Why are teachers so unkind these days?"... Public servant parent's complaint, and the reason behind it
No, grown-up... you are not acting like an adult.
Does the teacher have to go to school for such reasons?
Oh my... I'm so speechless ㅠㅠ
I wonder if it makes sense to go out during non-work hours for such personal purposes.
Where has the authority of the teachers gone... Sigh...ㅠㅠ
A parent who complained online that the teacher was unkind for not helping find their son's lost cell phone is causing public outrage.
According to an online community on the 23rd, a post titled "Why are teachers so unkind these days?" was recently uploaded. The post includes a screenshot of a photo from Blind, an anonymous community where users must verify their employment to participate.
Author A, who introduced himself as a civil servant, started by saying, "Today, my son told me he left his cell phone at school, so I called his homeroom teacher and asked them to find my son's phone in the classroom. The teacher said they had already left work and would find it tomorrow morning."
Meanwhile, she said, "Our son lost his cell phone and was crying all evening. Is it so difficult to just find it when he goes to school for a moment?" and pointed out, "I'm a civil servant too, and I respond politely even when a complainant contacts me in the evening, but teachers seem to lack a basic sense of kindness."
Furthermore, he argued, "Our son is only quiet when he has his cell phone," and added, "It's something that happened at school, and since the homeroom teacher manages the classroom, the homeroom teacher should resolve it. Is it right for uninformed parents to enter the classroom and look for it?"
Netizens responded with comments such as "Why do I have to go back when it's not working hours," "Isn't a teacher even a person," "I really hope this is a lie," "What does your son's phone have to do with it," "Why should the teacher do that," "Calling the teacher at night is also horror," and "I don't understand how someone who doesn't have normal thinking could become a public official."
