Sell-off of Compose Coffee? To whom exactly?

Did you hear the news that Compose Coffee was sold?

 

This time, the Filipino food company Jollibee Foods announced that it has acquired a 70% stake in Compose Coffee.

 

70% of the shares of Compose Coffee are valued at 238 million dollars, approximately 330 billion won.

 

 

I have never heard of the company Jolibi Foods before.

It is a major food company in the Philippines.

The market capitalization is approximately 6 trillion won, making it the largest among Filipino food companies.

 

Although it is an unfamiliar brand in Korea, it is said to be more famous than McDonald's in the Philippines.

With the sale of Compose Coffee, the overseas market will be handled by Jolibee, and our country will proceed as originally planned.
