Han Hye-jin, "Losing 10kg in two weeks is easy"... What is the weight loss method he emphasized?

I know I shouldn't, but what should I do about this??

Even if I skip a meal with a protein shake, I get so angry that I feel like I have to eat something...

This secret that I know but find difficult... Sigh... It's hard lololol

Model Han Hye-jin (41) shared her diet secret.

On the 20th, LG U+ Mobile TV's original variety show 'Trust and Talk - Let's Do Our Part 3' aired a discussion on the topic of dieting. During the broadcast, when a contestant shared that people around them keep encouraging them to eat while dieting, they responded with surprise, saying, "You started dieting and you're meeting people?" Han Hye-jin then revealed her own eating routine, saying, "If you stick with me, I can lose 10 kg in two weeks." She explained, "First, I stop eating at all before 6 o'clock, no matter what time I go to bed. When it's around midnight and I should be falling asleep, I start to hear my stomach growling," she said. "At first, I couldn't sleep, but if I do this every day, my body gets used to it and the growling stops. In the morning, you'll see that my stomach is flat."

Eating dinner makes it easier to gain weight compared to during the day. According to Dr. Michael Young, director of the Genetic Research Institute at Rockefeller University in the United States, from the evening hours, the body's energy requirements significantly decrease, and excess energy consumed is immediately stored in the body. In fact, there is research showing that people who eat after 6 p.m. are more likely to gain weight. A research team from Ulster University in the UK surveyed 1,177 people aged 19 to 64 who participated in the 'UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey' regarding meal times and food intake. The results showed that if you eat after 6 p.m., there is a high probability that you will consume more than 50% of your total daily calories. Conversely, if you eat before 6 p.m., there is a higher chance that your intake will be less than 30% of your total daily calories. The research team analyzed that the later dinner is, the more people tend to binge on high-calorie foods to satisfy their hunger. They also explained that eating dinner early makes you feel full because the food eaten at lunch has not been fully digested yet, leading to less food intake.

In particular, late-night snacking increases the risk of obesity and requires more caution. A research team from Brigham and Women's Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, analyzed the effects of late-night eating on hormones in 16 overweight or obese individuals. As a result, participants who ate late-night snacks had, on average, about 6% lower levels of appetite-suppressing hormones and about 12% higher levels of appetite-stimulating hormones over a 24-hour period compared to the group that did not eat late at night. The research team concluded that eating late influences hormones, leading to increased food intake and a higher likelihood of obesity. Additionally, eating late slows digestion compared to eating during the day and disrupts meal rhythms, increasing the risk of binge eating at lunch. Repeating this process can lead to poor regulation of food intake and easily result in obesity.
