Singer Kim Ho-joong is detained on charges of hit-and-run while under the influence of alcohol, and his agency, Think Entertainment, is moving towards closing down.

On the 27th, Kang Ho-jung's agency, Think Entertainment, announced that "all executives and employees involved in the Kang Ho-jung incident have resigned and the CEO position has been changed."

The agency stated, "We sincerely apologize for disappointing many people due to the Kim Ho-joong incident this time," and "We also extend our apologies to the artists affiliated with our company regarding this incident. We are currently reviewing the future of our management business."

CEO Lee Kwang-deuk and Director Jeon were detained along with Kim Ho-joong on charges of systematically covering up Kim Ho-joong's crimes. CEO Lee is accused of instructing Kim Ho-joong's manager to falsely confess, while Director Jeon is suspected of destroying the black box memory card.

As a result of this incident, Think Entertainment is expected to essentially go out of business. Think Entertainment is a company that manages not only Kim Ho-joong but also idol group TAN, actor Son Ho-jun, Kim Kwang-kyu, comedian Heo Kyung-hwan, and former soccer player Lee Dong-guk.

Think Entertainment announced that they will prioritize the opinions of their affiliated artists and terminate exclusive contracts without any conditions during negotiations.

He also added, "We will do our best in follow-up measures to ensure that all partner companies affected by this incident do not suffer additional damage."

Kim Ho-joong is under suspicion of fleeing after colliding with a taxi coming from the opposite direction on a road in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, around 11:40 PM on the 9th, in violation of the Road Traffic Act for failure to take appropriate action after an accident.

Kim Ho-joong, who caused the accident and fled, appeared at the police station around 4 p.m. the next day, 17 hours later. Allegations of drunk driving and driver swapping arose due to the manager's false confession and the removal of the black box memory card, but Kim Ho-joong's side repeatedly denied these claims.

Kim Ho-joong, who continued his performance in Changwon last weekend despite growing criticism, only admitted to drunk driving through his agency after completing the show. Kim Ho-joong stated, "I sincerely apologize for the hurt and disappointment caused by a momentary poor judgment. I deeply regret and reflect on my actions. I will cooperate sincerely with the police investigation."

On the 24th, the court issued an arrest warrant for Kim Ho-joong, who is accused of fleeing injury under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Prevention of Crimes, causing injury through dangerous driving, violating the Road Traffic Act, and aiding in the escape of a criminal.

Kim Ho-joong is currently detained in the detention center at Seoul Gangnam Police Station. His detention period is until the 3rd of next month.
