When you think of Chinese travel destinations, cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong usually come to mind first. However, there's another fascinating city in China that's still largely unknown to Koreans: Dalian, a port city located in China's Liaoning Province. In Korea, it's commonly called Dalian.
Dalian, a city where the sea and the city coexist, is a relatively clean and relaxed travel destination compared to other Chinese cities. Its proximity to Korea, only about an hour and a half by plane, makes it a convenient destination for a short trip.
