The day of rhinoplasty

The surgery was said to take about two hours. After a brief examination, I changed clothes and went into the operating room. The nurse put me to sleep as soon as I woke up, and in the blink of an eye, I was in the recovery room.

The surgery took about 2 hours on the day of the surgery, and I was very satisfied because there was not much swelling on my face and no pain. However, when I got home, the area around my nose was swollen, the area under my eyes started to bruise badly, and my face was so swollen that I wondered if it was really mine. The hardest part was sleeping. It was a bit uncomfortable to breathe because of the cotton.

The day after rhinoplasty

I went to the hospital and had the cotton removed. I was more scared than on the day of the surgery because I thought it would hurt a lot, but surprisingly, it didn't hurt. And it didn't hurt any more than usual.

Day 5 after rhinoplasty

I had a bruise under my eye at the nose hospital, so I could barely go outside and my daily life was difficult. When I looked in the mirror, my face was so swollen that I wondered if it was really me. I was a little scared and worried about whether the surgery had gone well, but as time passed, I found peace of mind.

10th day after rhinoplasty

Finally, the stitches were removed. The stitches and cast were removed, but the timing may vary from person to person.

14th day after rhinoplasty

Most of the swelling went down and there was only a little bruising under the eyes. From this point on, the nose surgery became more visible and the feeling in my nose returned. I definitely felt that my facial features had become more defined, and because my nose was straight, I was able to see the side view a lot.
