Five foods better than coffee to combat winter fatigue

During the winter season, fatigue tends to accumulate more easily due to seasonal factors. Trying to chase away drowsiness with a cup of coffee has its limits. Fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids

Saury, salmon, mackerel, sardines, and saury are representative. Omega-3 fatty acids improve brain function and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. According to studies, a deficiency of omega-3 fatty acids in the brain makes one feel fatigued more easily.

 

Nuts

Walnuts, almonds, and peanuts are rich in protein and fiber. They also contain a lot of magnesium, which helps maintain energy levels. Women engaging in intense exercise may experience an increased heart rate and find workouts more difficult if they lack magnesium.

Green leafy vegetables

Spinach, kale, and Swiss chard are rich in vitamins and minerals. In particular, they contain a high amount of folate, which belongs to the B vitamin group. Folate plays an important role in converting food into energy. A deficiency in folate can lead to easily feeling fatigued.

 

whole grains

Whole grains such as barley, whole wheat, and oatmeal are rich in fiber, which slows down digestion. This provides a steady supply of energy. Whole grains also contain many vitamins and minerals.

 

Egg

Eggs are rich in protein and iron. If you lack iron, you may develop anemia, and the ability of red blood cells to supply oxygen throughout the body decreases. If you are extremely tired, you should increase your iron intake through eggs.
