Some people find it difficult to diet due to frequent eating out during the holiday season. However, if you look carefully, there are dining-out options that are helpful for weight loss because they are high in protein or low in carbohydrates. Let's take a look at five dining-out menu items that are safe to eat while dieting.

 

▷Grilled Chicken=

 

Fried chicken uses a large amount of oil, resulting in high fat and calorie content. On the other hand, grilled chicken is cooked without oil, so its calorie content is not significantly high. According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, 200g of fried chicken contains 530kcal, while 200g of grilled chicken contains only 308kcal. Furthermore, the skin of fried chicken contains most of the liver and seasoning, as well as a large amount of trans fat, which increases inflammation, LDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels in the body.


▷Beef=

 

Beef is an excellent choice for a diet plan because it contains vitamins necessary for fat burning and creatine, which helps improve muscle strength. In particular, the round steak, located on the inside of the hind leg, is ideal for weight loss due to its very low fat content and high lean meat content. Round steak contains 132 kcal per 100g and is relatively high in protein, with 22.3g of protein. The eye round, shaped like a round on the inside of the hind leg, is also a good cut to consume while dieting. Eye round contains 128 kcal per 100g and 22.88g of protein. Among the 32 cuts of beef, eye round has the lowest calorie content and is high in protein, making it a weight-loss option that can be consumed without guilt.

 

▷Salmon Sashimi=

 

According to the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), salmon contains 120 kcal, 0 g of carbohydrates, 3.8 g of fat, and 20 g of protein per 100 g, making it helpful for weight loss as a low-carb, high-protein diet. Salmon contains DHA (a type of omega-3 fatty acid), which not only keeps blood vessels healthy but also prevents dry eyes. DHA also helps develop brain cells, aiding in the improvement of memory and learning abilities. Since the tartar sauce delivered with the salmon sashimi contains high-fat mayonnaise, it is recommended to remove it before eating.

 

▷Taco=

 

Tacos are a traditional Mexican dish made by filling tortillas with various ingredients such as meat, seafood, vegetables, and cheese. They are rich in dietary fiber and protein, making them a filling meal. The tortilla dough contains whole wheat flour, which provides a high fiber content and a light, savory flavor. The quercetin in the onions helps regulate blood sugar and lowers blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants, making them beneficial for controlling blood sugar and blood pressure. Adding guacamole to your tacos makes for a hearty meal. Guacamole is made by adding chopped onions and tomatoes to mashed avocados and contains a large amount of unsaturated fatty acids. Unsaturated fatty acids help lower cholesterol levels, improve blood circulation, and aid in the prevention of vascular diseases.
