Vinegar is a spice that adds a sour taste to food. It prevents food spoilage and has a sterilizing effect. While vinegar enhances the preservation of food itself, it also contributes to health when consumed.

The various organic acids found in vinegar, such as amino acids and citric acid, help relieve fatigue, so consuming it is beneficial when you feel easily tired and lethargic. Vinegar also helps women who need to lose weight by eliminating waste from the body through its diuretic effect and preventing fat accumulation.

It promotes blood circulation and activates metabolism, which is beneficial for skin health. Additionally, adding vinegar to food provides a sour yet refreshing taste, which stimulates the appetite. Vinegar is classified into synthetic vinegar and brewed vinegar depending on the manufacturing method.

Synthetic vinegar is made by diluting glacial acetic acid or acetic acid in drinking water and was once used in restaurants and other places as a dressing for food. However, as it became known that the chemicals contained in synthetic vinegar have adverse effects on the body, developed countries classify glacial acetic acid as a poison.
