According to a research team at Harvard University, women who ate half a cup of strawberries about three times a week had a significantly lower risk of heart attack compared to those who did not. In addition, strawberries have the effect of reducing the risk of stroke and cancer, lowering blood pressure, and alleviating allergy and asthma symptoms.
