This study, involving Beijing University, Oxford University, and other institutions, tracked cardiovascular diseases over nine years among 500,000 Chinese individuals.
People who answered that they eat eggs every day had an 11% lower risk of developing heart disease and an 18% lower probability of dying from related illnesses compared to those who do not eat eggs at all. The impact of eggs on stroke was even more pronounced. The risk of hemorrhagic stroke (cerebral hemorrhage) and ischemic stroke (cerebral infarction) was reduced by 26% and 10%, respectively.
