"I don't gain weight but feel full"… What is the 'diet food' recipe recommended by Jung Hae-in?

I should try making Jung Hae-in's recipe once.

I also tried stir-frying with shredded cabbage and adding oyster sauce.

They say to stir-fry only the egg whites in a pan, place the cooked mixture on top of the prepared rice, and then add the raw separated yolks on top.

Actor Jung Hae-in (36) revealed his simple yet healthy diet food that he enjoys eating.

On the 12th, a video titled "[Sub] Veteran 2 Essential Viewing Before Watching, Honest Review from Jung Hae-in | Shooting Hyung EP09" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong-yeop'. In the video, Jung Hae-in personally cooked his favorite dish, 'Cabbage and Pork Belly Slices Rice Bowl', and shared the recipe. Known as a big eater, Jung Hae-in said, "When I don't watch my diet, I’ve eaten meat at a restaurant for 10 minutes," and "I like tteokbokki and also make and eat tomato stew." He continued, "When filming, I have to control my food intake and avoid gaining weight, so I try to eat healthily and deliciously," and "I eat a low-calorie but filling and simple dish called 'Cabbage and Pork Belly Slices Rice Bowl'." When Jung Hae-in showed the dish, Shin Dong-yeop said, "It’s so delicious," and "I didn’t know it could taste so deep with such a simple recipe." Comedian Yoo Jae-pil (31) added, "It’s really tender and light." The recipe for Jung Hae-in’s favorite Cabbage and Pork Belly Slices Rice Bowl is as follows: First, shred the cabbage and stir-fry the sliced pork belly in a deep pan until cooked. Once the pork belly is cooked, add minced garlic, oyster sauce, oligosaccharide, and soy sauce to the same pan to season according to taste. Then, add the shredded cabbage and stir-fry together. Separate the egg whites and yolks; only the whites are added to the pan and stir-fried. Place the cooked mixture over prepared rice and top with the raw yolk.

▷Cabbage = Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable low in calories, with only 20 kcal per 100g, but high in fiber. Therefore, even when eaten in small amounts, it can quickly induce a feeling of fullness, and with the help of dietary fiber, it can help eliminate waste products from the body. There is also a study from the University of Illinois in the United States indicating that it helps reduce fat absorption and prevent fatty liver. However, people with hypothyroidism should avoid consuming cabbage because it contains a compound called 'goitrogen' that interferes with iodine utilization. A deficiency of iodine in the body can inhibit the production of thyroid hormones, leading to or worsening hypothyroidism. On the other hand, since goitrogens are sensitive to heat, consuming cooked cabbage in small amounts is generally not a health concern.

 

Eggs = Eggs are a food that can help with muscle growth rather than just simple body fat reduction. Egg whites contain 3.5g of protein and almost no fat. Therefore, consuming them with vegetables is effective for increasing muscle mass. The yolk is rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, vitamin B12, and folate (vitamin B9), so eating 1 to 2 per day can benefit health without worrying about bad cholesterol (LDL). In particular, the yolk contains a water-soluble vitamin called 'choline,' which promotes the secretion of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brain. Acetylcholine enhances memory and muscle control. However, consuming raw egg whites can lead to the accumulation of avidin, which blocks the absorption of biotin (a component that makes hair, skin, and nails smooth), so it is recommended to cook them before eating.
