I controlled my cholesterol with onions.

My groom has diabetes and undergoes regular blood tests every six months. However, with frequent dinners and drinking gatherings, the results from six months ago were truly shocking.

The total cholesterol was 320, HDL cholesterol 36, LDL cholesterol 200, and triglycerides 360, which are shocking results.

As expected, I came home after not exercising and drinking alcohol, and I immediately went to sleep. I remember feeling so frustrated that I burst out with a storm of nagging after seeing the results.

Since then, he also started exercising and tried to avoid drinking gatherings as much as possible.

And the only thing I could do was pay attention to the ingredients.

The ingredients I chose were onions and onion skins. I believe everyone knows that onions are good.

Onions are an ingredient used in almost every dish, but I started looking for ways to eat them every day.

Onions are harder to store than I thought, so if I don't pay a little attention, they rot, and it keeps happening, which is frustrating. Today is one of those days.

First, I sliced raw onions on the table every day and had them dip into soybean paste to eat.

Since collecting onion skins only at home wasn't enough, I asked the agricultural and fishery market, and they kindly gathered the skins and gave them to me. I was also praised as a good wife who cares for her husband's health. Hehe.

These are onion skins I obtained a few days ago. I think I can eat them without worry for a while.

After thoroughly washing the onion skins, place them in a cloth bag, add one barley tea bag, and boil vigorously. You can enjoy it warm or cold according to your preference. Surprisingly, it spoils quickly, so it's better to boil small amounts frequently.

I have been consistently consuming onion and onion peel tea for over five months, and all my test results have returned to normal, although my triglyceride levels are still slightly high. Still, I received praise from my attending physician. Haha

 

Onions, known as the "vascular cleaner," are highly regarded as a food ingredient in foreign countries, to the point that eating them daily is said to eliminate the need to visit the hospital.

In particular, unlike other vegetables, it has the characteristic that its key nutrients are not easily destroyed during the cooking process.

In addition to onions, foods that lower cholesterol include olive oil, avocados, barley, oats, strawberries, apples, carrots, and eggplants.

 

It's unlikely that cholesterol levels returned to normal solely with onions.

Please don't forget that you also exercised together, and remember that onions are definitely a healthy ingredient, so make sure to consume them regularly in appropriate amounts.
