[One word at a time] Sesame oil and seaweed powder in moderation!
There is a restaurant that I often go to.
It's a small restaurant run by an elderly couple and has only five tables.
If you go late, you will have to wait in line, which is inconvenient, but you will still get five side dishes.
The national highway changes daily and there are also grilled fish options, so when there are no good alternatives,
I always go to that restaurant and eat lunch.
I believe that we need to eat a variety of side dishes when eating to maintain a balanced diet.
It's partly because prices have gone up a lot these days, but even if you go to a Seolleongtang or Haejangguk restaurant, the only side dish they have is radish kimchi.
Even when you go to a Sundaeguk restaurant, the side dishes are even more abundant because the only side dishes are kimchi and cubed radish kimchi.
I prefer that restaurant.
' The same goes for 'kim powder'. It tastes better when you sprinkle a little kim powder on kimchi fried rice or pork fried rice. I put a container of seaweed powder on the table for customers to sprinkle on to their liking, but some customers insist on adding as much as they want. Well, I can't stop them, they say.
“If you put too much seaweed powder, the seaweed flavor will be too strong and you will only be able to taste the seaweed flavor. It will be more delicious if you put in just a little bit.” When talking about Baeknal, most customers say they put in “a lot” first.
As we live, we encounter things like sesame oil and seaweed powder in our lives, and there are moments when we need them. While their mere presence is truly a source of gratitude and appreciation, excessive use can obscure their essence and even rob them of their "original flavor."
